
If you have't seen this yet... well, why not? The real inconvenient truth of the moment is that not enough people have seen this. It's an excellent film, far more entertaining than I expected it to be, and rather than leaving me feeling all doom-and-gloom, it actually left me feeling a bit uplifted, motivated, and optimistic about the possibilities.
I just wish this movie weren't mostly preaching to the choir. There are so many people that should see this that simply refuse to see it, or that just won't make the time to see it. There are too many that desperately need to see it, that just dismiss it out of hand. And that's just sad. Nothing pains me more than willful ignorance.
And I also can't help but note how "presidential" Al Gore looks... I spent half the time thinking how good his profile would look on a quarter :-) Oh, the would-have-been, should-have-beens ...
